Don’t Stop Me Now! I’m Having Such A Good Time…..!!

Come on, sing along!

I’ve just learned how to crochet! Yay!! It seems that I just can’t get enough of this yarn crafting business that I keep wanting to explore more and more ideas. Not just exploring crochet, but exploring more design ideas for knitwear too. I’ve got so many designs and knitted samples that have yet to make it to paper!

But I’d better take care because all this creativity is too distracting. It’s keeping me away from writing patterns 😦 and that is probably why I do it so much. I’ve finally come to the realization that pattern writing is the chore behind one’s creative output. What a shame that I don’t have a PPWA (Personal Pattern Writing Assistant) who will jot down, transpose, translate (my gobbledy gook) and fully write up a complete pattern for each project that I knit, then publish them for me.

Anyway, I haven’t a clue what I’m doing with a crochet hook, but I saw this cool iPhone cosy in a magazine and I thought it looked great – I wanted one. But alas, I could not crochet – that was until I found this online video tutorial from www.craftsy,com and I was well away!

Excuse the crappy iPhone picture, but here it is:

I can only do single and double crochet at the moment, but not a bad start, eh?
